  1. How do you get your icing so crisp and clean and white? I know that may sound like a weird question but mine always turns out off-white...almose beige...and it isn't as pretty...is it because of the vanilla, do you think? Do they make clear vanilla?

  2. I use shortening instead of butter, and I have no idea if they make clear vanilla.

  4. I just had to come back and give you a big, THANK YOU! I made cupcakes the other day and I used shortening instead of butter. The icing was pure white like I wanted. ☺
